Plot

On motives of stories of Chekhov. Action occurs in a small town. Roughness and wretchedness of a provincial life do not leave Sofia Livovna, to heroin of a film, hope of realisation of its dream. Sofia Livovna has married for elderly Vladimir Jagich because it was rich and consequently that would be desirable to revenge it to young doctor Vladimir Salimovich in whom it has been enamoured since the childhood.
